Add the marshmallows and stir until they're completely melted. Stir constantly, otherwise, you could have a bit of a mess on your hands.
Pour in the cereal and the sprinkles (reserving 2 tablespoons of the gold sprinkles) and stir until the cereal is completely coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish and press it down evenly using a spatula or your hands. Sprinkle two tablespoons of the gold sprinkles over top.
Let the treats set for about an hour, and then use a sharp knife to cut them into squares.
